NITL: National Industrial Transportation League
The National Industrial Transportation League is the oldest and largest organization in the United States representing the transportation policy interests of shippers, those companies that place freight of all kinds onto any mode of transportation. Any company which ships or receives freight via railroads, trucks, ships, airplanes, barges, or any other mode is eligible to be a League member.

Operation RedBlock
CSX's Drug and Alcohol Peer Prevention Program
Operation RedBlock is a union-initiated, management-supported program that uses peer involvement to prevent employee use of alcohol and/or drugs while on duty or subject to call. More than 3,000 operating employees at CSX are trained as prevention committee volunteers. Volunteers initiate activities and projects designed to educate co-workers about Operation RedBlock.

RSI: Railway Supply Institute
The Railway Progress Institute (RPI) and the Railway Supply Association (RSA) are pleased to announce their consolidation and the formation of the Railway Supply Institute, Inc. (RSI). The respective Boards of Directors of the two organizations felt that by consolidating the two groups, the railway supply industry could continue to support the Committees of the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CCMA) and speak with a stronger and more unified voice in Washington, D.C. on issues that affect each supplier of transportation products.
