Acrow Panel Bridges Hot!
Acrow Panel Bridges are easily adapted to accept and carry railroad traffic. The same ease of construction and modular principles of the vehicular Acrow Panel Bridge are utilized to create a railroad bridge capable of carrying AREMA Cooper E80 loads, which is a train with a locomotive weight of 520 metric tonnes and axle loads equal to 37 metric tonnes.

Bridge Builder - The unofficial homepage
The concept of Bridge Builder is simple and brilliant at the same time. Your task is to build a bridge which has to support a passing train and stay undamaged. Actually, it doesn't necessarily have to stay undamaged, the train just has to pass to the other side safely... Each bridge element is $100 and your budget is limited. The process is simulated using a fairly realistic physics engine and rendered in real time.

Channel Tunnel Rail Link Photographic Project
In 1989, when the announcement to build a high speed railway from London to the Channel Tunnel at Cheriton was made I decided to photograph the construction of just the Medway Crossing. This was to be a viaduct, about 2 miles (3.2km) long, carrying the line over the river Medway in Kent between Burham Church and the village of Holborough. Later the railway was realigned, close to the M2 motorway.
