California - Feather River Rail Society

Portola, CA - The Feather River Rail Society is a tax-exempt, non-profit 501 (c) (3) educational and historical preservation organization that is also the operator of the Portola Railroad Museum. The FRRS is dedicated to preserving the history of the Western Pacific Railroad and its subsidaries, the railroad history of Plumas County and Northern California in general and the history of the diesel-electric locomotive in North America. There are currently over 1,000 FRRS members of various levels worldwide.
