Parry People Movers supplies light tramway systems for smaller towns, and light rail vehicles for use on regional railways off the main line. PPM vehicles incorporate flywheel energy storage, which allows electric tramway systems to be installed without overhead wires and longer range vehicles to be economically powered by very small lpg or diesel units. PPM technology responds to the need for inexpensive electric public transport in towns and lower cost transport on small branches of the national rail system.
