We would like to cordially welcome you to the Wutach Valley Preserved Railway, the so-called "Piggy´s Tail Railway".As you might have traveled a long way to see this most impressive railway line, we can tell you that you are among visitors from all parts of the world and all the five continents. We welcome you to a railway line which for dozens of years spent a Cinderella's Life, nearly forgotten, between far more important railway mainlines between Germany and Switzerland and then for more then twenty years even fell asleep as a Sleeping Beauty. Finally "she" was kissed to a new life, more lively and vivacious than ever before! Now acknowledged as a "Railway line of the century" which covers a distance of about 26 km crossing with many different landscapes and interesting railway vehicles. And do not forget to visit one of our comfortabLe Bar Diners, the Railway Museum, the historical signal box tower and the "Restaurant-Express".
