A Tribute to the New York, Chicago, & St. Louis Railroad Company. You are about to visit one of our nation's finest railroads - the Nickel Plate Road. It's no longer with us because of it's merger with the N & W and Wabash in 1964, but it lives on in words and pictures. So - it's time to board NKP Passenger Train #5, "The City Of Chicago", and travel from Buffalo to Chicago and all points in between. Pull off at Conneaut, Ohio and visit the Conneaut Historical Railroad Museum. Stop at Bellevue, Ohio, "The Hub Of The Nickel Plate", and visit the Mad River & NKP Museum. Take a break at Ft. Wayne, Indiana and admire the NKP 765.
