Washington - Anacortes Train and Rail

Anacortes, WA - Anacortes Train and Rail is in the process of redeveloping and expanding the railroad begun by Tommy Thompson Jr. and the Anacortes Railway. Tommy passed away in 1999. It was his and his family's desire that the engine and coaches be donated to a museum where they could be maintained and operated. AT&R is searching for equipment to replace Tommy's engine and coaches. The ultimate goal is to complete Tommy Thompson Jr.'s dream of a 3.5 mile Tourist Railroad in Anacortes, WA.
