Mission Mountain Railroad (MMT)

The Mission Mountain Railroad began operations December 2004. Located just miles from the Canadian border in the northwest section of Montana, the 40 miles of track are divided into two separate lines. The north line begins at Eureka and extends south to Stryker, Mont., while the south line begins at Columbia Falls and extends southwest to Kalispell, Mont. Interchanges with the BNSF are located at Stryker and Columbia Falls. Primarily moving forest products and grain, the MMT serves 12 customers at 15 locations. Transloading is available on the MMT at Eureka, Mont. The site is served by the MMT with interchange to the BNSF Railroad.
