New Hampshire - Ashland Railroad Station Museum

Ashland, NH - Victorian railroad station now a railroad history museum. Restored and renovated in 1997-98. Opened as a museum in 1999. One of best preserved late 19th century railroad stations in NH and houses a growing collection of railroad artifacts, pictures, and documents. Built c. 1869 as a passenger station by the Boston, Concord & Montreal RR. Renovated 1891 by Concord, Montreal RR - used as RR station until 1959 when passenger service ended. Purchased by Joseph Curley, whose widow Vera donated it to Society in 1980. On National Register.
