Diesel and Electric Modellers United (DEMU)

Diesel and Electric Modellers United (DEMU) was formed in 1994 to cater for all modellers of the ‘modern’ British railway system since the 1955 modernisation plan. It is the society’s aim to "increase interest and promote all aspects of this period via the exchange of information and ideas." This will hopefully lead to an increase in high quality modern image layouts and models, comparable to their steam-era counterparts.
