West Virginia - New Tygart Flyer

Belington, Elkins, and Bowden, WV - Welcome to our finely appointed streamline passenger train - THE NEW TYGART FLYER. This year’s operation will include a climb up out of the Tygart Valley, through a long, mysterious tunnel, and down along the Cheat River, traveling into the heart of the 900,000 acre Monongahela National Forest. This new mileage, in addition to the portion of the line through the spectacular gorge of the Tygart Valley River comprising the current route of the FLYER, enables us to offer round trip packages ranging up to 86 miles.
