West Virginia - Durbin Rocket

Durbin, WV - The DURBIN ROCKET reaches further into the Greenbrier River Wilderness! Over the years, having steadily worked our way southward from our home base in Durbin, we now are deep into the most remote areas of the upper Greenbrier River Valley. For year 2001, the ROCKET will be extended to a 10 mile round trip, stopping at a peaceful spot known locally as Piney Island. There’s no one to hassle you on the route of the DURBIN ROCKET, so bring along a picnic lunch and your fishin’ gear and spend a relaxing afternoon on the banks of the Greenbrier River in the middle of the Monongahela National Forest.
