The Louisiana & Delta Railroad (L&D), managed as a unit of GWI’s Rail Link, Inc. shortline rail operations, is headquartered in New Iberia, Louisiana, and serves customers throughout southern Louisiana, operating over 114 miles of our own track as well as 92 miles of the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe (BNSF) main line. We carry more than 12,000 carloads annually, primarily of carbon black, sugar and molasses, pipe, rice and paper products.
