With a steeply graded 13-mile route and well maintained locomotives, the FR represents an unparalleled driving challenge. Our guest drivers can choose a driving package that suits them, starting with more easily handled Penrhyn Lady Class locomotives through to the ultimate challenge of handling one of the famous FR double Fairlies hauling 10 carriages.
