Oroville, CA - Watch the Trains Go By At The Depot Restaurant. An original Western Pacific Railroad Station beautifully restored and turned into a first class restaurant. Artifacts from the railroad's heyday abound here. The Depot was an active railroad station from 1906 until 1966. Travelers arriving by train to California were introduced to California's horticultural wonders here at the former Plant Introduction Garden which grew every fruit tree imaginable.
