Santa Clara River Valley Railroad Historical Society The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of the history and heritage of the railroad in the Santa Clara River Valley, between Montalvo, California on the west to Newhall/Saugus, California on the east, located 45 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, California.
