Union Railroad
Today, Union Railroad includes 65 miles of main track and approximately 200 miles of yard tracks and sidings. Union Railroad provides general rail transport and switching services to the steel industry, barge-to-rail transport of coal and bulk commodities at Duquesne Wharf, and rail interchange service to automotive, chemical, and aggregates customers.

Vermont Rail System
Vermont Rail System is an affiliation of four Vermont-based shortlines; the Vermont Railway, the Green Mountain Railroad, the Clarendon and Pittsford Railroad, and the Washington County Railroad, which have provided efficient, reliable rail freight service to a wide variety of customers for many years. In 1997, the first three roads were joined in common ownership and formed a strategic alliance which provides for better utilization of manpower and equipment, resulting in an increased level of service to customers. The Washington county was added in 1999.
Reaching from Burlington, VT to the north, Hoosic Jct., NY to the south, North Walpole, NH to the east, and Whitehall, NY to the west, Vermont Rail System offers area shippers access to the vast rail transportation system in continental North America.

On July 11, 1995, Pioneer Railcorp signed an agreement with the Trustee of the Southwestern Michigan Railroad Co., d/b/a
Kalamazoo, Lakeshore & Chicago Railroad (KLSC), to purchase all of the tangible assets of KLSC. Those assets include
approximately 15 miles of track and right-of-way, extending from Hartford to Paw Paw, Michigan.
