The Chicago SouthShore & South Bend Railroad is a strategically located 87 mile Short Line carrier connecting Northwest Indiana's industrial complex with 19 transcontinental, regional, and local railroads, including those within the Chicago Switching District.
Headquarters are located in Michigan City, IN. The company is a privately held freight service railroad. Passenger service over the line is provided by the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) and is not affiliated with the Chicago SouthShore.

Chicago, Fort Wayne and Eastern Railroad (CFE)
The Chicago, Fort Wayne and Eastern Railroad (CFE) is a short line offering service from Tolleston, Indiana to Crestline, Ohio. The CFE operates approximately 273 miles of rail between Indiana and Ohio. Based on the volume of over 46,000 cars per year, obviously this stretch of railroad which interchanges with most of the Class I carriers, is an important spoke in the wheel to move freight in this corridor.

Chicago, South Shore & South Bend Railroad (CSS)
Michigan City, IN - Chicago SouthShore & South Bend Railroad was formed to acquire certain railroad assets from a trustee-in-bankruptcy in December 1989. The line provides high-density freight and passenger services. The transaction conveyed the responsibility for passenger operations to a regional commuter authority. SouthShore serves major steel and utility facilities and the Illinois International Port in Chicago.

Connecticut Southern (CSO)
The Connecticut Southern Railroad (CSO) operates about 77 miles of track in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The CSO interchanges with the CSXT at West Springfield, MA and New Haven, CT. Although the CSO covers only about 77 miles, it provides critical interchanges with the CSXT for customers moving steel beams, construction debris, lumber, malt liquors and pulpboard.
Several major recycling companies are located on the CSO and are dependent upon this road for movement of material to and from their facilities. CSO provides transportation of these materials economically and in bulk for easier handling by these recycling companies.

Dallas, Garland & Northeastern (DGNO)
The Dallas, Garland & Northeastern (DGNO) is a complex switching terminal that started operations in 1992 and is made up of a conglomeration of spurs and industrial leads. It operates 187 miles of rail line in the Dallas and north Dallas area, using a combination of owned and leased lines as well as trackage rights.
The DGNO interchanges with the Union Pacific Railroad at Dallas, Denison and Texarkana Texas. Also has interchanges with the Kansas City Railroad at Dallas and Greenville, Texas and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe at Irving and Sherman, Texas.
DGNO customers enjoy service their main commodities of aggregates, scrap metals, lumber, paper, wheat, corn syrup, military equipment, frozen foods, plastic resins and chemicals. As you can see if our customers, which rank among large national accounts, need to ship it; the DGNO can move it.
DGNO features extensive switching services and line haul extensions for our Class I partners. We operate a seven-day per week service plan offering some customers/locations more than one switch per day based on volumes and requirements.
As the DGNO serves a number of industrial parks, there is great potential for new customer location in these rail-served locations.

lease agreement for the lease rights of two segments of track in east central Illinois owned by a consortium of grain dealers.
Approximately 38 miles of railroad is operated including 8 miles of trackage rights on the Illinois Central Railroad (IC) through
Decatur, Illinois.

Delta Southern Railroad
Delta Southern Railroad Company, headquartered in Tallulah, Louisiana, is a short line freight railroad with 163 miles of track in Louisiana and Arkansas. DSRR has three lines:
(1) Tallulah, Louisiana (KCS connection) to McGehee, Arkansas (UP connection) - 103.4 miles
(2) McGehee, Arkansas (UP connection) to Warren, Arkansas (KCS connection) - 45 miles
(3) Sterlington, Louisiana to Monroe, Louisiana (UP connection) - 15 miles.
Traffic on the McGehee-KCS line includes grain/agricultural products, cotton, coal and chemicals and serves two Mississippi River barge transfer ports. Fertilizer, forest products, chemicals and sand clay are carried on the Sterlington to Monroe line. Traffic on the McGehee to Warren line includes forest products, soda ash and aggregates.

Eastern Alabama Railway (EARY)
The Eastern Alabama Railway (EARY) is a short-line railroad constructed in 1883 and operates from Talladega, Al to Sylacauga, AL. Although this railroad operates strictly in Alabama, it provides an integral transportation corridor interchanging with CSXT at Talledaga and the NS at Sylacauga. In doing so, the reach for customers to and from this Alabama region is extended throughout North America.

The Elkhart & Western Railroad Co. (EWR) is a rail line running from Elkhart to Mishawaka, Indiana, a distance of approximately 9 miles. The EWR's trackage was acquired in 1996 from Conrail (CR), later Norfolk Southern Railway (NS), by the Michigan Southern Railroad (MSO). The EWR has been recently separated from the MSO for marketing and administrative reasons. The line had formerly been operated as the Elkhart & Western Division of the Michigan Southern Railroad.

The Ferrocarriles Chiapas-Mayab S.A. de C.V. is a regional carrier located within the Mexican states of Yucatán, Campeche, Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz and Oaxaca. Our 1,805-kilometre (1,000-mile) network of main and branch lines connects the important population and transportation centers of Mérida, Campeche and Coatzacoalcos along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico with Ixtepec, Tapachula and Ciudad Hidalgo at the border with Guatemala along the Pacific Coast. FCCM operates on 321 km (200 miles) of trackage rights between Coatzacoalcos and Salina Cruz, which allows us to connect traffic between the two routes.

Florida East Coast Railway (FEC)
The Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) operates 351 miles of mainline track along the east coast of Florida. With interchanges of Class I carriers, NS and CSXT the reach of the FEC is expanded throughout all of North America.
FEC moves major carload commodities of aggregate, automobiles, lumber, farm products, food and kindred, machinery, pulp and paper, petroleum products, and stone, clay and glass. Volumes for FEC exceeded 118,000 in 2007.
FEC also serves five (5) intermodal terminals with volumes for 2007 exceeding 300,000 units. FEC also provides a drayage leg in its portfolio of services to intermodal customers. This has proven to be a very attractive alternative for retail customers looking for one-stop shopping in their transportation services needs.

Florida Midland Railroad (FMID)
The Florida Central Railroad (FCEN), Florida Midland Railroad (FMID) and Florida Northern Railroad (FNOR) operate five separate former CSX Transportation branch lines in the state of Florida.
The FMID formed in 1987 operates over 40 miles of track serving over 25 customers in Leesburg, Winter Haven, Gordonville, Lake Wales and Frostproof, Florida.
