Manufacturers' Junction Railway (MJ)
Cicero, Illinois - The MJ was incorporated to serve the former Western Electric Hawthorne Works, a primary producer of telephones and related equipment. Although a portion of the Hawthorne plant was converted into retail space, the majority was redeveloped into a business center, including MJ customers Phelps Dodge Copper Products, Schillinger Salt, World Distribution and an intermodal ramp. On its north end, separate from Hawthorne Works Business Center, the MJ serves Web Printing. MJ currently operates over 6 miles of total trackage. Substantial warehouse space is available on and around the MJ, presenting many growth opportunities as companies continue to relocate into the area. OmniTRAX Leasing also maintains a Locomotive Rehabilitation Center at the MJ shops. MJ also provides services such as switching and storage for connecting railroads.

Massachusetts Central Railroad
The Massachusetts Central Railroad Corporation (MassCentral), was established in 1975 to provide railroad transportation services between Palmer and South Barre, MA.

In 1976 MassCentral was formed by a group of local businessmen and railroad enthusiasts, who recognized the need for freight service between Palmer and South Barre. MassCentral began operating along the 25 mile track in 1979.

Massena Terminal Railway (MSTR)
The Massena Terminal Railway (MSTR) is a terminal switching railroad that was incorporated in 1900 and located in Massena, New York. The MSTR interchanges with the CSXT at Massena, NY. Services provided to existing customers include intraplant switching, track maintenance, car weighing, loading and repair along with traffic coordination. The MSTR maintains a certified AAR car repair shop.

The MSTR features warehouse space (some of which is heated) which is ideally suited for staging product into and out of Canada. There is also 140 acres of land available for industrial development within 3 miles of the Massena, NY Airport.

Meridian Southern Railway
The Meridian Southern Railway is a 55 mile railroad in East Mississippi. We serve communities between Meridian and Waynesboro, Mississippi. We are a freight short line railroad utilizing three type GP10 locomotives built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division (EMD).We employ 11 people to operate our railroad. Small enough to know you, large enough to serve you.

The Meridian Southern provides freight rail transportation of commodities for numerous businesses in East Mississippi providing a rail connection through Meridian to the national rail system via the Kansas City Southern Railway (KCS).

Michigan Shore Railroad (MS)
The Michigan Shore Railroad (MSR) is located on the shore of Lake Michigan and interchanges with the CSXT. The MSR operates a line with over 7,000 cars per year primarily of sand and chemicals.

The MSR performs this integral service for this area in Michigan and customers depend upon this service to move their goods to their customer’s door.

Michigan Southern Railroad (MSO)

The MSO serves a diverse commodity base including scrap metal and paper, fertilizer, aggregates, animal by-products, and manufactured and food products. Mid-Michigan Railroad (MMR)
The Mid-Michigan Railroad (MMRR) operates between Lowell to Greenville and from Paines to Alma. The MMRR interchanges with other short-line carriers that provide transportation service to Class I carriers to move goods and services throughout North America.

Although a relatively small road, the MMRR still provides services for over 6,000 cars per year with commodities such as corn, soybeans, elevated temper to and from national customers located on the rail line.

The MMRR serves Michigan with dependable, safe and continuous rail movement for customers to get their traffic on time and damage free.

New England Central (NECR)
The NECR operates 327 miles of railroad between the Vermont and Quebec border just south of Montreal on the north and tidewater at the Port of New London, CT on the south.

NECR features seven days per week service to all major interchange points. NECR interchanges with 4 Class 1 railroads; Canadian National at East Alburg, VT, Canadian Pacific at Bellows Falls, VT, Norfolk Southern at Bellows Falls, VT and CSXT at Palmer, MA. Other rail partners include the Vermont Railway at Burlington, the WACR, CCRR, ST, GMRC, MCER and PW interchanges at various points in Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

NECR provides service of mixed (import and domestic) double stack COFC container clearances from Canadian border to PW at Willimantic, CT to/from intermodal terminal in Worcester, MA.

NECR also provide on-dock transatlantic steamship access at Port of New London, CT.

There is availability for railcar storage and on-line public warehouse and transfer yard facilities for rail/truck, truck/tail and rail/ocean service.

Cleveland, Ohio - NSR was originally built to serve U.S. Steel's Cleveland area steel mills. Today it is a rapidly growing short line serving Birmingham Steel's American Steel & Wire Division, as well as a diverse customer base that includes Cleveland Plywood, Dougherty Lumber, Ferro Corporation, General Electric, Marquette Steel, Minneapolis Flour, North Coast Ferrous, and Phillips Metals. Operating about 13 miles of trackage and with acres of improved industrial property in the heart of Cleveland's interstate highway system, NSR is poised for continued growth. NSR has demonstrated particular success in approaching difficult logistics problems with innovative solutions. For example, NSR established a storage and just-in-time delivery transload facility for American Steel & Wire.
