Marquette Rail (MQT)
Marquette Rail (MQT) serves west Michigan with approximately 126 miles of track. The primary rail route extends from connections with CSX and Norfolk Southern/Grand Elk at Grand Rapids northward to Ludington and Manistee. These lines, formerly part of the Pere Marquette Railroad network that covered most of the stateís Lower Peninsula, have been in continuous operation since 1874.

Marquette Rail serves about two dozen online customers in six west Michigan counties, transporting chemicals, paperboard, grain, salt, petroleum products and other commodities.

Marquette Rail also serves as a storage agent for fleet owners requiring convenient accommodations

Maryland & Midland Railway (MMID)
The Maryland & Midland Railway (MMID) is a 70-mile short line freight railroad that interchanges with CSX Transportation. Commodities transported include aggregates, brick and cement, chemicals, coal, food and feed products, and forest products. The MMID was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2007.

Mass Coastal Railroad
Massachusetts Coastal Railroad is a subsidiary of Cape Rail Inc., which also operates the Cape Cod Central Railroad. Massachusetts Coastal Railroad also operates under the abbreviated name Mass Coastal Railroad. This shortened version is the variation currently used on all of Massachusetts Coastal's locomotives and rolling stock.

Massachusetts Coastal Railroad (MC)
The Massachusetts Coastal Railroad (reporting mark MC) is the successor operator of portions of Bay Colony Railroad. On December 31, 2007 the contract to operate the freight railroad lines owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts administered by the Executive Office of Transportation (EOT) expired. These railroad lines included the Cape Cod Main, as well as several shorter lines. The new contract was awarded to a new company, the Massachusetts Coastal Railroad, which took over on January 1, 2008. At that time the Bay Colony ceased operation on those lines, but continues in other areas of the state

Massena Terminal Railway (MSTR)
The Massena Terminal Railway (MSTR) is a terminal switching railroad that was incorporated in 1900 and located in Massena, New York. The MSTR interchanges with the CSXT at Massena, NY. Services provided to existing customers include intraplant switching, track maintenance, car weighing, loading and repair along with traffic coordination. The MSTR maintains a certified AAR car repair shop.

The MSTR features warehouse space (some of which is heated) which is ideally suited for staging product into and out of Canada. There is also 140 acres of land available for industrial development within 3 miles of the Massena, NY Airport.

The Meridian & Bigbee Railroad (MNBR) is a 145-mile short line freight railroad that interchanges with the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway, BNSF Railway, CSX Transportation, Kansas City Southern and Norfolk Southern. Commodities transported include aggregates, brick and cement, chemicals, food and feed products, forest products, and metallic ores and minerals. The MNBR was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2005.

Meridian Southern Railway
The Meridian Southern Railway is a 55 mile railroad in East Mississippi. We serve communities between Meridian and Waynesboro, Mississippi. We are a freight short line railroad utilizing three type GP10 locomotives built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division (EMD).We employ 11 people to operate our railroad. Small enough to know you, large enough to serve you.

The Meridian Southern provides freight rail transportation of commodities for numerous businesses in East Mississippi providing a rail connection through Meridian to the national rail system via the Kansas City Southern Railway (KCS).

Michigan Shore Railroad (MS)
The Michigan Shore Railroad (MSR) is located on the shore of Lake Michigan and interchanges with the CSXT. The MSR operates a line with over 7,000 cars per year primarily of sand and chemicals.

The MSR performs this integral service for this area in Michigan and customers depend upon this service to move their goods to their customerís door.

The Michigan Southern Railroad Company (MSO), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pioneer Railcorp, operates 15 miles of track. The railroad's principal commodities are scrap, scrap paper, pulpboard, frac sand, coal, lumber and soybean oils.

Mid-Michigan Railroad (MMRR)
The Mid-Michigan Railroad (MMRR) operates between Lowell to Greenville and from Paines to Alma. The MMRR interchanges with other short-line carriers that provide transportation service to Class I carriers to move goods and services throughout North America.

Although a relatively small road, the MMRR still provides services for over 6,000 cars per year with commodities such as corn, soybeans, elevated temper to and from national customers located on the rail line.

The MMRR serves Michigan with dependable, safe and continuous rail movement for customers to get their traffic on time and damage free.
