New England Central (NECR)
The NECR operates 327 miles of railroad between the Vermont and Quebec border just south of Montreal on the north and tidewater at the Port of New London, CT on the south.

NECR features seven days per week service to all major interchange points. NECR interchanges with 4 Class 1 railroads; Canadian National at East Alburg, VT, Canadian Pacific at Bellows Falls, VT, Norfolk Southern at Bellows Falls, VT and CSXT at Palmer, MA. Other rail partners include the Vermont Railway at Burlington, the WACR, CCRR, ST, GMRC, MCER and PW interchanges at various points in Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

NECR provides service of mixed (import and domestic) double stack COFC container clearances from Canadian border to PW at Willimantic, CT to/from intermodal terminal in Worcester, MA.

NECR also provide on-dock transatlantic steamship access at Port of New London, CT.

There is availability for railcar storage and on-line public warehouse and transfer yard facilities for rail/truck, truck/tail and rail/ocean service.

New York & Atlantic Railway (NYA)
New York & Atlantic Railway began operation in May 1997 as result of the privatized concession to operate freight trains on the lines owned by Long Island Rail Road. The railway serves a diverse customer base and shares track with the densest passenger system in the United States. NYA connects with CP, CSX, NYNJ, NS and PW.

Newburgh & South Shore Railroad (NSR)
Newburgh & South Shore Railroad (NSR) operates in the heart of Cleveland's interstate highway system. NSR was originally built to serve U.S. Steel's Cleveland area steel mills. Today, the rapidly growing short line serves a diverse customer base that includes Charter Steel Cleveland, Cleveland Plywood, Ferro Corporation, CorStone, JBI Scrap, J&M Locomotive, Minneapolis Flour, National Lime & Stone, North Coast Ferrous, and Phillips Metals. Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad Company
Nittany & Bald Eagle Milesburg, PA - The Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad, established August 1, 1984, is a seventy mile line serving the communities of Lock Haven, Tyrone, Bellefonte, and State College. The Nittany line dates back to 1857, with the incorporation of the Tyrone & Lock Haven RR to serve the coal and iron industries centered around Milesburg and Bellefonte. The railroad was renamed the Bald Eagle Valley RR in 1861, and in 1864 was acqured by the Pennsylvania RR. Some of the Nittany's trackage was partially abandoned by Conrail in 1982 and 1983. The Nittany & Bald Eagle preserves rail transportation for industry in Blair, Centre, and Clinton Counties, hauling large quantities of stone and general merchandise, and serving as a bridge line for the movement of coal to power plants. Nittany's blue and white colors honor Penn State Univeristy.

North Shore Railroad and Affiliated Railroads
North Shore Railroad Northumberland, PA - The North Shore Railroad Company is comprised of six short line railroads - Juniata Valley Railroad, Lycoming Valley Railroad, Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad, North Shore Railroad, Shamokin Valley Railroad and Union County Industrial Railroad. The JVRR, LVRR, NBER, NSHR, SVRR operate on tracks owned by the SEDA-CoG Joint Rail Authority. The UCIR has portions of track that are held by private parties as well as a portion that is owned by the Joint Rail Authority.

We provide quality rail service to a variety of businesses and industries located in Central Pennsylvania. The commodities we handle are as varied as the businesses themselves. Aggregates, coal, grain, plastics are just a small sampling of the range of commodities that move in, out and around Central PA on the rails.
