Swan Ranch Railroad (SRRR)
Cheyenne, WY – West Region
The Swan Ranch Railroad (SRRR) began operations December 28, 2011. The SRRR operates within the newly developed Swan Ranch Industrial Park in Cheyenne, Wyo., the largest logistics hub in the Rocky Mountain Region to meet the rapidly growing transportation needs of the energy sector.The SRRR consists of 17,192 feet of track as a switching railroad in the premier logistics hub and is Watco Transportation Services’ first short line operating in the state of Wyoming and within an industrial park.

This unique state-of-the-art development is at the intersection of two Class I railroads, the Union Pacific and the BNSF, as well as two major interstate highways, I-25 and I-80 – making it a prime location for manufacturing and distribution companies. When fully developed, the Swan Ranch Industrial Park will encompass approximately 7,200 acres. The first phase of development is the Cheyenne Logistics Hub, which will total 1,300 acres and include a transloading facility.

The Talleyrand Terminal Railroad (TTR) is a two-mile short line freight railroad serving the Jacksonville Port Authority and interchanging with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern. Commodities transported include automobiles, chemicals, intermodal containers, and pulp and paper. The TTR was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 1996.

Tazewell & Peoria Railroad (TZPR)
The Tazewell & Peoria Railroad (TZPR) is a 24-mile short line terminal and switching railroad that also operates over 100 miles of yard and industrial track. TZPR interchanges with BNSF Railway; Canadian National; Illinois & Midland Railroad; Iowa Interstate Railroad; Keokuk Junction Railway; Norfolk Southern; Pioneer Industrial Railway; Toledo, Peoria & Western Railway; and Union Pacific Railroad. Commodities transported include chemicals, coal, construction machinery, food and feed products, forest products, and steel and scrap. The TZPR was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2004.

Texas – New Mexico Railroad (TXN)
The Texas – New Mexico Railroad (TXN) is Located in the heart of the Permian Basin. The Texas & New Mexico Railway (TXN) operates 111 miles of track in New Mexico and Texas. The TXN interchanges with Union Pacific at Monahans, TX and terminates at Lovington, New Mexico. The railroad primarily handles oilfield commodities such as drilling mud and hydrochloric acid, frac sand, pipe, and petroleum products including crude oil. In addition, the TXN also ships iron and steel scrap.

Three Notch Railroad (TNHR)
The Three Notch Railroad (TNHR) operates over 34 miles of track southeast from Georgiana, AL to Andalusia, AL. 

The TNHR interchanges with CSX at Georgiana and handles approximately 1,050 carloads per year. Major commodities that travel over the TNHR include chemicals, polypropylene, fertilizer and agricultural products. 

A short line railroad with a direct connection to a Class I carrier, the TNHR helps link local communities in Alabama to the national railroad network and to the economic benefits that flow from that network.

Timber Rock Railroad (TIBR)
Silsbee, TX – Gulf Region
Watco Companies acquisition of the Timber Rock Railroad (TIBR) began in 1998, with additions in 2002 and 2004. The 160 miles of mainline track serves, among others, Watco’s first Customer: an industrial switching operation in DeRidder, LA. The TIBR carries more than 26,000 carloads annually, with forest products and rock making up the majority of the loads.
