Long Island Sunrise Trail Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society - The Long Island - Sunrise Trail Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society is a group of dedicated railroad enthusiasts who gather regularly for companionship and fun to preserve and enjoy Long Island's significant contribution to railroad history, as well as all other aspects of railroading. The Chapter has monthly meetings at which slides and movies of the Long Island Rail Road and many other railroads are shown and news of local railroad groups and items related to railroading are discussed.

The Rochester Chapter NRHS was formed on February 4, 1937 as the fifth chapter of the fledgling National Railway Historical Society which was formed just 2 years earlier.

Washington, DC - We are a diverse group of people with a common interest in rail transportation and its rich and storied history. Membership in our Chapter is fun and is open to all with our common interest. We invite you to join our organization.
Over the course of the year, we conduct a wide variety of activities, including public excursions, train trips, tours, as well as private railroad car journeys aboard the DOVER HARBOR, and monthly meetings.

The Watauga Valley Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS), chartered in May 1981, is a non-profit, all volunteer, and educational organization dedicated to the preservation of railroading in the Appalachian area - past, present, and future.
