Colorado - Colorado Live Steamers
Byers, CO - We have moved to our new 120 acre site, 35 miles east of Denver, where we have begun building our new facilities. The first 7 1/2" gauge loop was completed in June of 1998. To date we have laid 3,200 feet of track and have built the 102 ft bridge which completes the first loop called the Johnson Loop. The organization's overall goal is a 2.5 mile, 7 1/2" gauge point-to-point mainline railroad. This railroad will be radio dispatched with ample steaming bays & unloading facilities to accommodate a regional or national meet when completed. Camping facilities will be constructed with limited hookups.
