Central Manitoba Railway
In the spring of 2003 CEMR opened a rail yard in Transcona consisting of storage tracks, a locomotive and car repair shop and office space. CEMR also interchanges with CP Rail which puts us in the unique situation of being a shortline railroad with access to both the CP and CN rail networks. CEMR employs approximately 30 operation and maintenance employees. All administration and management functions are handled out of Brandon, MB.
