California - Slim Gauge Guild Model Railroad Club
Pasadena, CA - We have two layouts located in a 2000 square foot basement.
The HOn3 layout is based on the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad and the Rio Grande Southern. On the HOn3 layout we tend to model specific prototype scenes.
The Sn3 layout is more freelanced. We tend to model scenes as we see fit. We do loosely model the Colorado and Southern for our mainline and northern California lumber companies for our highline.
Membership: We are currently looking for new members.

Diesel and Electric Modellers United (DEMU)
Diesel and Electric Modellers United (DEMU) was formed in 1994 to cater for all modellers of the ‘modern’ British railway system since the 1955 modernisation plan.
It is the society’s aim to "increase interest and promote all aspects of this period via the exchange of information and ideas." This will hopefully lead to an increase in high quality modern image layouts and models, comparable to their steam-era counterparts.

Fessenden School Train Club
For almost 40 years, model trains were an important hobby for the boys at The Fessenden School. From modest beginnings in the 1930s, the train layout grew in size and complexity, ultimately covering more than 400 square feet, replete with 500 feet of flex-track, 28 track switches, and a 4-foot hand-crafted operating drawbridge. The scenery included an aerial tramway, trackless trolleys, and electronically controlled traffic signals. Two custom-designed control panels allowed five trains to be operated simultaneously.
