Northern Pacific Grays Harbor Branch
This model railroad represents a 'what if' scenario for the Northern Pacific Grays Harbor branch. The NP ran the Grays Harbor branch first to Ocosta and later to the present Grays Harbor communities of Aberdeen and Hoquiam. The line to Ocosta proved a mistake and was largely removed 20 years later. So, what if the NP branch to Ocosta had proved useful? This model railroad layout is a representation of that possible scenario. An overview of the factual early railroad history of Grays Harbor can be found at The Railroads of Grays Harbor, 1880-1900.

OO Scale Sig Page
The American OO Gauge SIG was formed in the fall of 1985 and is dedicated to the preservation and advancement of American OO gauge, which has a scale of 4mm=1ft. and a track gauge of 19 mm, essentially 0.75 in. This scale, which is slightly larger than HO scale, flourished in the 1930s through the mid-1950s. Manufacturers of American OO included many of the most famous model companies--Lionel, Mantua, Scale Craft, and j-c Models, among others. A small but devoted group of modelers continues in this scale, and wishes to help others and to foster interest in OO gauge modeling.

Peter's Web Page - Scottish Narrow Gauge in 009
This site is about my 009 narrow gauge model railway layout, Glenbranter. It is based on a proposal of 1898 to build a railway in west Scotland, not far from Glasgow. I have modelled it as a preserved narrow gauge railway similar to the rebuilt Welsh Highland Railway, using Garratts and other large motive power. The history section gives further details.

Pro Rail International
These pages have been prepared by a modelling author dedicating all his time to the promotion of model railroading. But not any kind of model railways! Model railways backed up by their natural surrounding, model railways captured by a landscape-painter, model railways conveying feelings and emotions. Some 20 years ago, he called his quest "atmospheric modelling" and the words remained.
