California - Adventure City
Anaheim, CA - (Click on rides, then "express train" to view the train.) This special train was built in 1938 and was the main attraction of Hobby City for almost 25 years before Adventure City was built in 1994. After extending its rails, the "Adventure City Express" now gives guests a full-circle tour of the park. Of course, no train station would be complete without conductor calls over the loud speaker and "Chattanooga- Choo-Choo" playing in the background.

This train appears to be a Hurlbutt 2-4-2, in any case it's a very nice classic park train.

Colorado - Rio Golden Railroad at Heritage Square
Golden, CO - The goal of the builders was to create a five inch scale replica of a Colorado narrow gauge railroad. It was built to be authentic, not a ‘toy railroad’ or even an amusement park railroad. For instance, the water tank and the ticket booth were built to resemble typical structures on Colorado railroads, and were painted “Marshall Yellow,” a color chosen from paint samples found in the archives of the Colorado Railroad Museum. Marshall Yellow was taken from the color of a water tank located at Pando near Tennessee Pass.
