Australia - Queensland Rail on the Internet
QROTI is the unofficial and independent Internet information site of rail services in the State of Queensland, Australia.
This includes information of QR (Queensland Rail) whilst the hosted Trainaway Tours information further promotes the rail industry for this and future generations.
The QR information includes the intrastate, tourism-style Traveltrain long distance services, Brisbane and south east Queensland's Citytrain commuter services, and the largest state-wide general freight service of Q-Link.
The existence of QROTI allows for the local, national and international community to "make tracks easier" whilst, at the same time, promoting the environmentally friendly transport option and Queensland's tourism industry. The persistent work performed in and for QROTI has been purely voluntarily with no corporate-level support, sponsorship or funding.

Austria - UNESCO WHS Semmering-Railway
Semmering-Railway Austria - The Semmering railway is a part of the southern railway (railway-km 75,0 to 116,7) leading from Vienna to Trieste (nowadays Italy) and was constructed by the state. With the help this approximately 42 km long railway line the high mountains of the Alps are crossed at the Semmering pass (985 m) at the culmination point in 898 m above sea level. This constituted until 1860 the worldwide highest attainable place for public railways.

Europe - Railteam
Railteam will make travel across the European rail network as seamless as possible. It is a cooperation between Europe's leading high-speed rail operators, currently DB (Germany), SNCF (France), Eurostar (UK, France and Belgium), NS Hispeed (Netherlands), ÖBB (Austria), SBB (Switzerland) and SNCB (Belgium), as well as two of their high-speed subsidiaries Thalys and Lyria, with the possibility of more train operators joining in the future.
The participating high-speed rail operators in Railteam are working closely together to offer a much simpler way to book and travel on Europe's high-speed network. It is truly the future of European travel.

Finland - VR Tervetuloa
Finlands Railways VR offers train passengers a wide variety of services in long-distance and Helsinki Metropolitan Area services. VR operates nearly 320 long-distance services every day of which six between Finland and Russia. Helsinki Metropolitan Area is serviced by approximately 850 commuter train services per day.
VR Passenger Services is part of VR Ltd, the biggest company in VR Group. VR-Group is totally owned by the state and it was incorporated in 1995. Finnish Rail Administration is responsible for maintaining the rail network and building new lines with funds budgeted by the state. VR operates rail services on the rail network and pays a track fee to the state. VR-Track Ltd provides track planning, building and maintenance services to the state.
