This page covers a wide section of the Old Dominion, in an area bounded by Culpeper, Richmond, Lynchburg and Clifton Forge. CVRP territory includes both CSX lines between Richmond and Clifton Forge as well as Norfolk Southern lines in the northern Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley. The region's three short line operations are covered as well. We hope this page will give you a sampling of the varied landscapes, townscapes and rail action in the area.
