Illinois Central
The CN-IC Story section is an easy-to-read account of the history of IC. Illustrated with photos, this section also
describes, with the click of a mouse, what was happening at CN during the same period. The Historical
Highlights section provides a quick look at the most important events in IC's history. The IC Presidents section
offers a brief, yet fascinating, biography and photo of each of the 24 men who once ran the railroad. Another
section worth looking at is the story about the Evolution of IC's Logo, from the first logo in 1851, that was
simply a black diamond, to the "Big I" that first appeared in 1972.

Illinois Central Photo Album Web Site
The IC was truly a unique and historic railroad. In it’s almost 150 years of existence, it never declared bankruptcy, was never in receivership, and only had one minor name change. It was a North-South carrier in a country that was dominated by the East-West routes laid by the other great railroads. It also was the first land grant railroad, paving the way for the Union Pacific and the rapid growth of the railroad industry that followed.

Iowa Interstate - Unofficial Photo Archive and Railfan's Guide
Welcome Iowa Interstate Enthusiasts! The Unofficial Iowa Interstate Photo Archive and Railfan's Guide is dedicated to covering the past and present of Iowa Interstate (IAIS), one of the older and more successful of America's regional railroad spin-offs.
Born from the ashes of the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific in 1984, Iowa Interstate operates about 500 miles of railroad, centered around the ex-CRIP main from Bureau, IL, west through the Quad Cities and Des Moines into Council Bluffs, IA. Additionally, they reach eastward to Blue Island, IL, via CSX and Metra trackage rights, and south to Peoria, IL, as well as operating several small branches off the main line. This site is meant to assist already avid IAIS enthusiasts, encourage new ones, and provide information to those just dropping in for a visit.

Kishacoquillas Valley Railroad
The Kishacoquillas Valley Railroad was a charming backwoods railroad that ran in the heart of Pennsylvania. The KV was known as "the short line with a long name," and it's no wonder that local residents cooked up their own nicknames - the "Lofty Vanderbilt," the "Hair Line" or the "Ol' Hook & Eye" - reflecting its character and country mystique.

Lehigh Valley Railroad
Welcome to the semi-official Lehigh Valley Railroad website. Thanks for visiting the Lehigh Valley. She was a grand road that ran from New York to Buffalo serving the anthracite coal district of eastern Pennsylvania, on up to Finger Lakes in New York and terminating on the shores of Lake Erie.
