New Jersey - Haluwasa ShoreLine RailRoad
Hammonton, NJ - The Haluwasa Shoreline Railroad, is one of the largest working narrow gauge railroads in New Jersey. The railroad is used to carry passengers and their baggage (freight), from the main station to the several camping locations around the camp. We use our system to encourage interest in railroading, and to educate our guests in the mechanics, safety aspects and history of railroads. The railroad is owned by Camp Haluwasa, a non denominational Christian year round camp, and is maintained and operated by the volunteers of the Haluwasa Shoreline Railroad Club.

New York - MTA New York Transit Museum Homepage
Brooklyn Heights, NY - On July 4, 1976, the New York City Transit Exhibit opened to the public in a decommissioned subway station built in 1936. The exhibit, installed throughout the old Court Street subway station in Brooklyn Heights, was a celebration of America's Bicentennial as well as the role that public transportation played in the nation's development. This temporary exhibition proved so popular that it was never dismantled. Instead, it formed the sturdy foundation on which the New York Transit Museum was established.
