Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Society
Swanwick, Southampton - The Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Society was founded some fifty years ago with the aim of saving a Bagnall saddle tank locomotive from the scrap yard and establishing a narrow gauge railway in Hampshire, and which later evolved into an equipment operating group. In October 2006 it was incorporated into the Hampshire Narrow Gauge Railway Trust, an important milestone which has proved a most beneficial development. With its base for operations at the Brickworks Industrial Museum in Hampshire in the south of England, the Trust conserves and operates narrow gauge equipment dating back to the end of the nineteenth century.

At Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum, efforts are focused on the once widespread narrow gauge railway in industry. Here the Trust's steam and petrol locomotives and many other varieties of rolling stock are kept, and see regular use both for work on the re-creation of a narrow gauge railway, for demonstrations of industrial trains to visitors and for operating passenger trains.

The Trust's Hunslet steam locomotive ‘Cloister' has recently been moved from Amberley Working Museum & Heritage Centre , and is currently undergoing a refit in the workshops at Holton Heath Dorset.

Ireland, Dromod, The Cavan and Leitrim Railway
Dromod, Ireland - Welcome to the Cavan and Leitrim Railway website. This website has been produced by the supporters of the Cavan and Leitrim Railway. The main reason that this website has been produced is to provide people, both enthusiasts and the slightly interested with an indepth look at how the Cavan and Leitrim Railway is being brought back to its former glory after nearly forty years of dereliction. The Website also has a photographic archive made up of photographs that were taken while the original Cavan and Leitrim railway was still in existance. Mainly black and white, these photographs serve as a permanent record of what the Cavan and Leitrim Railway was like in the bygone era of the Irish Narrow-Gauge railways.
