New York - Ontario & Western Railway Museum
Roscoe, NY - The Roscoe O&W Railway Museum was established under the charter of the Ontario & Western Railway Historical Society in 1984 and was first housed in a former Erie Railroad caboose. The first O&W Railway festival was held in August of that year and has become an annual event. In 1986 the museum board members approved the purchase of the Wood garage for the purpose of expansion. A new corporation, the Roscoe NYO&W Railway Association was formed to purchase, operate, and maintain the museum.

The museum complex consists of the O&W refurbished caboose on the site of the Roscoe Station, the original trout weather vane and train signal, the Cooks Falls and Roscoe watchman's shanties, The Beaverkill Trout Car and the O&W station motif building. The museum now contains O&W artifacts and memorabilia, other railroadiana, and local history displays showing the impact of the O&W on community life, hunting, fishing, farming, tourism and local industries.

New York - Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburgh Depot Orchard Park, NY
Orchard Park, NY - The Orchard Park railroad depot at Highland Avenue and South Lincoln Street is not your average small town railroad station. Built in 1911 by the Buffalo, Rochester Pittsburgh Railway, it was uncommonly substantial thanks to the railway president, Harry Yates, who lived in the village of Orchard Park. The depot is an exact replica a stone H.H. Richardson depot in Auburndale, Massachusetts. The only difference is the Orchard Park depot is made of "Tapestry Brick".

Restoration to date is about 90% complete, and is open to the public during the summer every Saturday from 9am - 1pm until Labor Day. Many village civic organizations also use the depot as the center for their functions. Events such as the Orchard Park Garden Club Sale, Christmas in the Park, Business Functions and the annual Ice Cream Social, give the public a chance to enjoy a little railroad heritage and for the Society to show off their work and equipment.

In addition to restoring the passenger depot to its 1911 as built stature, the Freight House has become the site for the Societies Museum Store and Archive Center. This will provide the public access to the extensive historical collection holdings of the Society. Climate control and fire protection will ensure safe, long term storage of rapidly aging railroad related artifacts and documents.

New York - Central Square Museum
Central Square, NY - The Central Square Museum was once jointly operated as a depot for the New York, Ontario & Western and New York Central railroads. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, the Central Square Station was the principal communication and transportation center for the village. The Central New York Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society has undertaken the arduous task of restoring the depot to its original appearance inside and out. The finished project will present what the rail age gave to the community and will serve as a rail museum, library and public meeting rooms
