The Georgetown Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
A site dedicated to the preservation of the Georgetown Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. This 11 mile branch ran from the Silver Spring area in Maryland through Bethesda, Chevy Chase and on into Georgetown, Washington DC. The line was taken up and converted into a rail trail in the mid 1990's. On this site you will find a collection of images, information, references, links and other items related to the GB. Also, you will find info about a GB HO Scale layout which is being built.
